It’s a fitting end for a star who’s been a trailblazer for the industry and a role model for young women and girls.
The Oscar-winning actress, who won a Grammy Award for her work in “Loving,” is one of the most powerful women in Hollywood.
And for her, it’s all about the future.
Jennifer Lawrence, known for her roles in “The Hunger Games,” “Gravity” and “Suicide Squad,” was named one of Time magazine’s “30 most influential people” in March.
Her work has included “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and the upcoming “Joy.”
The 35-year-old actress, known as the “Jennifer” in her films, said the film industry has given her an opportunity to explore and express herself as a woman.
“It’s been an incredible journey for me,” she said.
“I’ve been working on a lot of different projects over the last four years, and it’s been very much about finding myself, finding myself in this world of films, finding my voice, finding a way to make something that’s meaningful for me.”
Jennifer Lawrence is a star, and I’m a star.
And I’m an icon.
